From time to time, the main video will feature a scrolling text banner with info news about Mel & Sydney's clutch, hot off the nest so to speak.
This is your opportunity to be featured as our "School of the Day" with a greeting from Mel & Sydney - we've done this in the past and it's been a huge hit - the children love it and can't wait to get home after school to show the rest of the family that they "made the news" !

PRIVATE Q&A CHAT CLASS
Tune in on the main Ustream channel and enter a private chat room for an educational session with a licensed wildlife expert to talk about what Mel & Sydney are up to, their eggs, the owlets, and anything your class would like to know about barn owls. We will do our best to coordinate the time and day of your choice.
Email us the information listed above, for School of the Day, as well as :
- Your email where you want to be contacted (if different from your first email to us)
- Contact phone number
- Days/dates that are suitable for your class to participate
- Your time zone (number of hours ahead of California) and time of day you would like the session to take place
Prepare the following:
- Sign up on Ustream with a USER NAME and password to join the general chat area
- Ensure that your school does not block access to chat-like areas, so test out your user name well ahead of time to see whether you are able to post a message in open chat
- If the class has a projector, we recommend showing the main inside box view plus the private chat which will appear to the right - this will occur at the main URL address for Cam #2
